Atlanta consumer optimism rising
Senior Online Editor-Atlanta Business Chronicle
Consumer optimism in Atlanta hit a five-year high in the second half of 2012, International Demographics Inc. reported Friday.
Its “The Media Audit” study for November 2012 through January 2013 showed nearly 2 million adults in Atlanta (51 percent) expect to be better off financially in the next six months.
Financial optimists tend to purchase more goods and services and tend to pay more for premium products, the study noted.
Coupled with continued increase of home market vales, plus lack of inventory, and low mortgage rates – makes it a seller’s market!
